Book Review

The book The Road is a great novel by Cormac McCarthy. This fiction novel is a great story to get into and its very hard to stop and put down this book as the father and son due travel south as they strive to survive against cannibals and thief's. most of this book is written in third person and McCarthy choose not to give the characters names which i found to be quite interesting but easy to reference back to when you talk about the book so instead of remembering names you only have to say things like father and son because those are the names he uses during the novel. I also thought that the story of the trip south for survival between the son and father was well written and was well executed. The end of the book left me thinking as why the father left the son living and didnt choose to end their lives because the father time was coming but he knew it would be hard to survive and i just found it intresting that he let the buy live and continue by himself.
